Xerial, pronounced as ex-serial, is a universal serialization engine. You can create databases from various data souces: XML, JSON, CSV, tab-separated data, and SQL databases. Mapping from the other data formats is supported by using Lens. For developers, Xerial can be used to serialize/deserialize data objects.
